We want you to know what's happening in Belmont Shore -- from a resident's perspective. You see the store ads, read about special events, eat at trendy sidewalk cafes.... But you might not be aware of issues apart from Second Street, or maybe caused by Second Street. Traffic and parking, government red tape, the mall-ification of our local business mix causing the loss of traditional neighborhood shops, and many other issues, all have a profound effect on our lives. The more we know, and the more we unite as a community, the more good we can do for ourselves, our neighbors, and our neighborhoods.

The Belmont Shore Residents Association offers a free e-mail newsletter for residents and friends of the Belmont Shore community, featuring the latest local news, hot issues, and neighborhood alerts. We'll also remind you of our upcoming BSRA meetings and their agendas.

You've subscribed, but aren't receiving your  ShoreGram?

Due to the increase in internet spam, many internet service providers have installed spam-blocking software to help control what people receive in their e-mail boxes. Unfortunately, commonly blocked are mass mailings such as newsletters, and it may be necessary for subscribers to adjust their spam software controls or indicate in some other manner their desire to receive wanted mass mailings. Processes will vary depending upon an individual's internet service provider and the particular spam-blocking software being used. Common solutions include:

  • List shoreresidents.org as an acceptable domain in your "allowed senders" list.
  • Change the degree of blocking being used.
  • Check your e-mail's "Spam" folder for the ShoreGram mailing, then click the "This is not spam" option.
  • Contact your internet service provider for specific directions on how to receive your ShoreGram mailing through that service.
  • Contact BSRA at "admin" at our website (shoreresidents.org) to verify that your e-mail address is correctly entered on the mailing list.
