The City of Long Beach web site offers excellent information regarding code enforcement issues on its Neighborhood Services page (click here), defining types of complaints the city will help resolve, and the fines set for code violations. Additionally the site lists current neighborhood problems being addressed. To report a code enforcement violation, you may contact (562) 570-CODE.

Membership in the BSRA is open to all Belmont Shore residents -- home owners and renters alike. The modest membership fee entitles each member to voting privileges at the annual election of the Board. Non-members are welcome at all BSRA meetings and events.

Meetings of the Belmont Shore Residents Association are held on the second Thursday of each month at the Bay Shore Library, at the corner of Bay Shore and Second Street. Meetings begin promptly at 6:00 PM, and must conclude by 8:00 PM due to the Library's limited hours.

Meetings are conducted by the BSRA Executive Board (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and seven members at large).  An agenda is prepared prior to the meeting, though additional topics for discussion may be proposed by anyone in attendance.  Guest speakers often provide insight into current Shore issues, and reports from police, business, and community representatives often round out the evening.
